Astrology - Color Theory
Venus, for example, has been associated with the colours blue, green, yellow, and white; Taurus, with all of these, plus orange and brown. Shades of purple are associated with Jupiter and the Sun, pale ones with Venus and the Moon.
Astrology uses color association. Specific colors have been assigned to each sign of the zodiac. Do you have a favorite green shirt or a red dress you can never bear to get rid of? Do you find yourself drawn to the same shades of colors, whether in clothes, dishes, or upholstery?

Colours in Astrology
Colour is produced by the wavelength of light: the light at the blue end of the spectrum has a shorter wavelength than that at the red end. This is actually a half-truth, since the eye cannot assign incoming light to a wavelength. Instead it has three types of receptors with their maximum sensitivity at the ends and middle of the range of visible light: blue, green, and red.
Colour perception is a matter for the mind, not the eye.
Feng Shui is an ancient art exploring color, placement and symbols in interior decorating. Using the appropriate colors and symbols and placing them in one's home or office space correctly is believed to generate harmony and peace.
